Also called Palm Sedge, each stem has leaves arranged in three ranks. There are interesting seed heads but, like all sedges, the flowers are not showy. Though they don't provide nectar, they do provide shelter for wildlife. Will form thick clumps and spread by rhizomes. Great for stabilizing soil on pond and stream edges.
